THE TABLETUTORS SPRING BREAK DJ SPIN CAMP PROGRAM IS A PLACE WHERE ASPIRING DJ'S WITH LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE CAN TURN THE CURIOSITY OF LEARNING HOW TO MIX MUSIC, SCRATCH RECORDS, OR BEAT MAKING INTO REALITY WITH LIKE MINDED INDIVIDUALS IN A SAFE PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT!
Our DJ & Music Production Winter Break Workshop is a 3 Hour experience that will get you started on your new musical journey.
This 4 Day Hands on DJ experience will include:
- Intro to DJing
- Intro to Turntablism
- Intro to Beat Production
- Intro to Live Performance Beat Production and Midi Drumming

4 DAY AGENDA
TUESDAY - DAY 1
INTRO TO DJ'ING
Get familiar with DJ equipment, focus on cueing songs with focus on basic mixing and transitions. Introduction to Industry Standard Software SERATO DJ
WEDNESDAY - DAY 2
INTRO TO TURNTABLISM & TRICK MIXING
Progression of lessons learned from Day 1 with focus on scratching, beat juggling, and transitioning music with more advanced techniques.
THURSDAY - DAY 3
INTRO TO LIVE BEAT PRODUCTION
Equipment & Software overview using Mixing Board, various MPC's, Beat Machines, production software and more. Learn how to sample and edit beats to create and record a simple track
FRIDAY - DAY 4
PROGRESSION OF LESSONS
STUDENT SHOWCASE DAY & PIZZA PARTY
Students will be applying their new found skills to perform and share what they learned with fellow spin campers!
